We are a local sawmill and custom hardwood products business in Lafayette, IN, providing an excellent product and service to customers for the benefit of our community and helping guys who need a second chance in life.

Custom Milling

If you have logs and don’t want to pay travel and set-up fees, or you have really big logs that are going to be hard to mill without a skid steer or heavy equipment, we also do custom milling at our shop. Minimum charge of $105 or $.45/bdf  ($105/hour for small logs, less than 8’ long and less than 16” diameter).

Portable Sawmill

Have logs to mill? We can bring the sawmill to you!

Costs for portable milling:

Travel Fee – $3.25/mi one way

Set-up/tear down fee – $75

Milling Costs – for small logs (under 8’ and less than 16” diameter) $105/hour. For most jobs we charge $.45/board foot (+$.05/bdf for quarter sawing).

Minimum charge of $175 (not including the travel and set-up fee or metal instances).

$36 blade fee/metal instance (if we hit metal in the logs).
